With us, you’re optimally insured with the lowest possible deductable
All insurance premiums for use of the rental car in Western Europe are included, as well as the VAT and free mileage, as we charge real all-in rates !! Our rental rates include CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), liability insurance, Vehicle License fee, PAI (Personal Accident Insurance) and TP (Theft Waiver)
Renter has a maximum deductable when financial damage can not be recovered from a third party. Besides damage by fault of the renter, this includes glass break, tire damage, theft, vandalism, loss of car papers, etc. (except loss of carkeys when renter is responsible for full costs). The maximum deductable per damage depends on the car category: only € 50,00 for categories A and B or € 125,00 for other categories.

Handing-in the car during your stay
It’s possible to hand-in the car back to us when you leave the Netherlands for a short period (traveling through Schiphol Airport) during your rental period. We will pick up the car at Schiphol upon your departure and deliver it back to you on your arrival. We will not charge an additional Schiphol-fee (before 10:30 pm) as long as the total rental period would be less expensive for you than two separate rental periods. This way, you save yourself the time and money of parking the car on Schiphol Airport.

Changing the type of car during the rental period
If, during your stay, you wish for a larger or smaller car you can change the car at Schiphol or at our office in Hoofddorp. We do not charge additional costs for this service, you only pay the difference in daily rates!

Indefinite end date
When making a reservation and the carrental period is not known yet because of relocation, transportation of your own car to the Netherlands, political situations, issue of visa, pregnancy or other medical reasons this is no problem as long as you indicate this.

Changing / cancelling the reservation
There are no costs involved in changing or cancelling your reservation. When using the rentalcar shorter as indicated in advance we will refund the difference.

Delay of your arrival flight
If you provide us with your flight number, we will keep ourselves informed of any delays and adjust the delivery when necessary. In case of an unexpected transfer, please inform us by telephone.

Arrival / Departure in the middle of the night
We provide Schiphol service 24 hours / 7 days a week, but only upon request. For each carrental period we charge a one-time Schiphol fee of € 38,00. There is a night surcharge of € 25,00 for arrivals and departures between 10:30 pm and 5:00 am.

Deliver or return the car at another location
When renting the car for at least five days, we offer the possibility to deliver and/or pick up the car at an address in the Netherlands. This service costs € 0,50 per kilometer to be driven by us, with a minimum of € 35,00. The address can not be a bus-, train station or port. Free of (overnight) parkingcost we must be able to deliver the rentalcar the day before start rental and to collect a day after completion of the rental. Only 24 hours ahead we can have more detailed information about exact time.

Pick up / drop off Hoofddorp office
We also charge the one-time handling fee of € 38,00 when the car is rented or delivered at our office in Hoofddorp.

Hotels in the Schiphol Airport area
For no additional costs (the one-time Schiphol fee still applies) we can deliver and/or collect a car at a hotel in the direct surroundings of Schiphol. You can find a list of these hotels on our website. Please mind the restrictions mentioned there !

Abroad
All necessary papers for driving in Western Europe are included. For driving in Spain or Italy an extra insurance premium of € 50,00 applies. It is not possible to drive in or through an Eastern European country (e.g. the Czech Republic). For driving in/through Swiss or Austria you need to buy a roadtax sticker at the border of those countries. Per 2008 some German city centers are only accessible with a special environmental badge (Umweltplakkete). Please contact BB&L.

Parking ticket / fines during the rental period
Being the owner of the car we will be the first to receive a ticket for an (alleged) offence during the rental period. In this case, we will file a petition including a copy of the rental agreement with the name and address of the renter. The issuer of the ticket can now send the ticket to your address. You can file a petition as well. To prevent any claims at a future border control it is important that you provide us with your correct postal address. We charge no handling or administration fees for this procedure.

Age of (second) driver
Any driver of the car has to be at least 24 years of age with a valid driving license for at least one year. There are no costs involved for additional driver(s).

KNAC Breakdown Service
All our cars have a KNAC Breakdown Service membership, so you are assured of technical assistance and replacing vehicles in all of Western Europe, 24 hours a day.

International driving license
We don’t ask for an international driving license, unless your local license is written in a non-Latin alphabet.
